HAUSMUSIK NZ is a professional chamber music ensemble performing mainly baroque music on original instruments. Depending on the works to be played the size of the group varies from 3 to 20 musicians.
Repertoire may include chamber cantatas, instrumental sonatas, trios etc, vocal arias with or without instrumental accompaniment, concertos for various instruments accompanied by small string ensembles and small scale choral works. Concert programmes (see here) are characterized by an individual design, often focusing on a particular theme. We aim to perform in intimate settings with small audience sizes, thus providing an exceptional, up-close-and-personal concert experience.
